This collection began with a series of hand-carved block prints inspired by traditional Norwegian folk art.

Each motif was carved by hand into linoleum blocks and printed using water-based inks on texture paper and then scan in.

These original prints were then carefully arranged, layered, and refined into seamless repeat patterns in photoshop.
